نجران مدينة تاريخية عريقة تقع في أقصى الجنوب الشرقي من المملكة العربية السعودية، وتمتد على حدود اليمن. تُعدّ من أهم مناطق التاريخ في جنوب الجزيرة العربية، إذ شهدت حضارات متعاقبة على مدى آلاف السنين. تجمع بين المواقع الأثرية الفريدة والواحات الخضراء النادرة في قلب البيئة الصحراوية.
Najran is an ancient city in the far southeast of Saudi Arabia, extending along the Yemeni border. It is among the most historically significant areas in southern Arabia, having witnessed successive civilizations over thousands of years. It combines unique archaeological sites with rare green oases in the heart of a desert environment.
التراث والفلكلورHeritage & Folklore
تضمّ نجران موقع الأخدود الأثري الذي يعود لحقبة ما قبل الإسلام، ومنطقة العقلة وقلعة نجران الشهيرة. كما تُعدّ مهداً للمخطوطات القديمة والكتابات المسندية الجنوبية، مما يجعلها كنزاً للباحثين في تاريخ الجزيرة العربية.
Najran contains the Al-Ukhdood archaeological site dating to the pre-Islamic era, along with Al-Aqla area and the famous Najran Fort. It is also a cradle for ancient manuscripts and South Arabian Musnad inscriptions, making it a treasure trove for researchers of Arabian Peninsula history.
الطبيعة والمواقعNature & Attractions
تتميز نجران بواحاتها الخضراء النادرة المزروعة بالنخيل والأشجار المثمرة وسط بيئة صحراوية. تُشكّل هذه الواحات تناقضاً بصرياً ساحراً بين الأخضر والذهبي، فضلاً عن جبالها التي تحتضن نقوشاً صخرية قديمة.
Najran is distinguished by its rare green oases filled with palm trees and fruit trees amid a desert environment. These oases create a stunning visual contrast between green and gold. The surrounding mountains hold ancient rock inscriptions and offer scenic hiking routes.
