الربع الخالي أكبر صحراء رملية في العالم، تمتد بمساحة تتجاوز 650,000 كيلومتر مربع عبر أراضي المملكة العربية السعودية واليمن وعُمان والإمارات. تُشكّل الكثبان الرملية الشاهقة — التي يبلغ ارتفاع بعضها 250 متراً — مشهداً بصرياً لا مثيل له على وجه الأرض.
The Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali) is the world's largest continuous sand desert, covering over 650,000 km² across Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, and the UAE. Its towering sand dunes — some reaching 250 meters in height — create an unrivaled visual spectacle unlike anything else on Earth.
التراث والفلكلورHeritage & Folklore
تحتضن صحراء الربع الخالي آثاراً وروايات عن مدينة أُبار الأسطورية المفقودة، التي ذكرها القرآن الكريم باسم "إرم ذات العماد". كما وجد علماء الآثار بقايا حضارات بشرية قديمة وطرق تجارة قديمة تعبر هذا الفضاء الشاسع.
The Empty Quarter holds legends of the lost city of Ubar (Iram of the Pillars), mentioned in the Quran. Archaeologists have found traces of ancient human civilizations and old trade routes crossing this vast expanse, revealing a rich pre-Islamic history hidden beneath the sands.
